Hi, I’m Jing Dong, a multidisciplinary designer who also specializes in ceramics. I graduated from Parsons School of Design with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, majoring in Design and Technology and minoring in Communication Design. I also earned a Master’s degree in Integrated Product Design from the University of Pennsylvania.
My design philosophy is to make things that people actually want to live with 🥰. I love creating furniture, utensils, and stationery—everyday objects that quietly improve your life without showing off.
When I’m not behind a screen or a sketchbook, you can find me wandering through furniture showrooms, testing out new recipes in the kitchen, or going to the gym to pretend I’m living a healthy lifestyle 💪.
Currently, I teach at Caldwell University as a Graphic Design Assistant Professor. Before joining Caldwell University, I taught as an adjunct professor at Syracuse University. I feel incredibly grateful to have found this path. Being both a designer and a design educator allows me to do what I love while helping others discover their own creativity through design.
